Our English Toffee is from a family recipe. We start our toffee with nothing but the finest ingredients and make it in small batches with a unique method that makes our toffee wonderfully crunchy, but not hard like most other toffees. We top our toffee with a unique blend of Ghiradelli Chocolate. It is then generously sprinkled with just the right blend of toasted almonds, walnuts and pecans. The result is without a doubt, the best English toffee you will ever experience. People who do not normally like toffee are delighted with ours. We have added this treat by popular request. We use Ghiradelli Chocolate to which we add a generous amount of our crushed toffee and a hint of mint. Oh boy, what a combination ! Visions of the wonderful thin after dinner mints we are all familiar with comes to mind, but with the enhancement of our wonderful toffee. |

Many people ask, "what is the difference in Toffee and Brittle"? Caramel, Brittle, and Butterscotch are made in similar ways to toffee, as is fudge. The difference is in the degree of boiling temperature and the ways in which they are cooled. The key ingredient is the sugar which has a mystical characteristic because so many things can be done with it. The confectionery fats (butter) affect the sugar's final chemical structure and determine the brittleness, hardness, flavor and texture (chewy verses crunchy). As a general rule Toffee is slightly softer than Brittle.
I think you will agree there are lots of different Peanut Brittles. After tasting ours, we are confident that you will agree it is simply the best. |

Our fudge recipes are well over 50 years old. We are very proud to offer a special fudge that has a melt-in-your-mouth texture that's not too sweet. We use only the finest fresh, natural ingredients and natural extracts with no artificial preservatives to make the most delicious & addictive fudge ever.
Our Chocolate Pecan Fudge is made with wonderful Ghirardelli Chocolate. It has a delightful smooth texture with just the right amount of chopped pecan pieces. If you don't want the nuts just say so, and we will leave them out especially for you.

This is the best of both worlds. It has one layer of our Chocolate fudge (without the nuts) and one layer of our Peanut Butter fudge. Someone said,"I can't decide which I like the best, chocolate or peanut butter." This is the answer. The two really compliment each other.

Do you love those wonderful creamy pralines full of pecans? Then you will be sure to love our Praline Fudge. It is the same recipe except we do not portion them into patties. We pour them up and cut them just like our fudge. The same great taste but they fit into our package. The patties tended to break and we found no one wants a broken praline. |

On special request we decided to make Pecan Brittle. We are really excited about the taste difference between Peanut Brittle and Pecan Brittle. We used our wonderful Brittle recipe but substituted Pecans for Peanuts. One would never know it was the same recipe. It tastes totally different!
